Our Design Department work closely with the client throughout the design process to ensure that all requirements have been incorporated within the final design.

Our experienced technical team are able to advise clients on a variety of topics including; equipment specification, sizing, fault finding and suitability. Our design capabilities range from small pressure vessels to fully packaged plant-rooms.

At DKL Mechanical, we are constantly working to refine and develop our product range in order to offer the most intuitive and efficient solution for your individual requirements.

DESIGN CODES

Pressure vessels can be designed to the following codes;

BS853-1:1990+A3:2011 Grade A Part ½
BS EN 13445
BS EN 12897
PED 2014/68/EU
PD5500:2015
If required, vessels will be verified and inspected throughout manufacture by a Third Party Notified Body (NoBo).

DOCUMENTATION

As standard, all appropriate equipment is provided with drawings, hydraulic test certificates and O&Ms. However, additional documentation can be provided if requested at time of enquiry such as;

  • Drawings (General Assemblies, Sub-Assemblies, Schematics and Wiring Diagrams)

  • Certificates of Conformity

Throughout the manufacturing stage, we can also work to deliver project specific services such as lifting plans, delivery schedules and Building Information Models.
